Where it's at

I saw on Rix page that I hadn't updated in a long while, so ha. Time to write.

So, I've been keeping myself busy with work and school. Have many a seminars to write. In Philosophy, my seminar paper in Measurement & Semantics is apparantly going to be about the Map/Territory Relation, though I haven't even an inkling of an outline. I have a presentation in that seminar this week about Paul Churchland's Scientific Realism & he Plasticity of Mind in which he spews a bunch of incomprehensible nonsense regarding the supposed analogy between measurement theory and a propositional theory of mind. I have to read it again.
I also have an empirical seminar in psychology, and I have yet to receive approval for my research agenda.

So fun.

In work, we've recently moved to a new store. That was a lot of.. er, work. Yes.
Packing and unpacking and everything nice, look at the piccies for a demonstration of hell from Free Comic Book Day.

In the midst of all this, it is now clear to me that I have to move at the end of my contract, which is the 31st of July. That gives me two months to look for a decent apartment in Tel-Aviv. It's high season, so the prices are up, and I may be forced to reduce myself to a meager subsistence, and abandon the high standard of living to which I have become accustomed to.

I will miss the projector, I will.

But even moreso, the washing machine.

My red line is A/C. Tel Aviv in the summer is fucking hell, and I will not have any of it.

When I'm finally done with school (and there's still plenty of work ahead), then I'll do my GRE. I can know by November if I'm accepted to school in the US for 2008/9.

That seems about it for a standard update. A girl I used to know used to sign off all her blog posts on deviantart with this standard
"still no boyfriend / no job / no future / living with parents" rant. Maybe I should adopt it.

no girlfriend / deadend mcjob / not living with my parents yet ;)

Good luck, and by all means avoid living with the rents.

Reading that reminded me of how much a combination of real life and art school rotted my brain.
