You don't choose your battles because as we all know, you can get caught up in a lot of shit you never saw coming... the thing that you decide is how you will act when the fight arrives at your door. And that is what shows the real person that you are... not the good times. Not the smiles... not the laughing... but the tears and/or lack thereof. "My turkish prison is knowing I fit in..." -glassJAW Explanation: I like to be different and the fact that I find myself having similarities with some of the people I know... freaks the HELL out of me. I feel like it's a bad dream to find yourself filling the expectations of other people... being as predictable as they want you to. Because those people don't stick out... they just fit into the mold, the bend of life and are like pawns on a chessboard. You don't give a SHIT about those little guys until you got nothing else. You use those nipple-looking-single-move things pretty much however you want without really caring... well I don't like being those. Oh yeah... glassJAW also rules so hard. And all that does, the only thing, is remind us that love isn't enough. Not even close." -Life as a House Explanation: Except for the fact that the acting blew in this movie... it was an amazing film but I really really really liked this quote. It just stuck out to me because it's the harsh reality to all the love stories that plague Hollywood and create these grand illusions that once you find "true" love that everything works out... well it DOESN'T! Not even close. There's gotta be compromise, honesty, forgiveness and understanding... Love is different for each person and it's hard to find that balance between two conflicting personalities that equals the perfect relationship... which there is no such thing. No one has a perfect relationship. That right there is why Love is so deeply coveted and why people spend their whole lives searching for it... |
