Livin' it up!

2008-06-24 17:58:12 ET Just thought I'd pop in here and fill anyone in ...for those of you that remember me... Seems like it's so far in between my posts that it's likely some of you may forget who I am, was, or is? Anyway... Life has been pretty good to me lately. I've been doing marvelously with my girlfriend...we're coming up on a year and a half of being together soon! We're even talking about having kids and getting married and a whole slurry of things that I'd never imagine would come from my mouth! But, things are just that good! I've received a promotion just this week also... I've increased my salary by almost 50% since last year, which is pretty sweet! I have my own house, I even have the bling to make it a fancy schmancy home with cool stuff inside! Snazzy?! I think so! That's how I roll. 16 comments

SAW

2007-10-29 22:43:24 ET DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO SEE SAW IV. I have this theory about the Saw movie series. The "Jigsaw Killer", the old man who we see die, killed by having his throat cut by a saw, was an engineer. Being an engineer he was able to design and construct the many wicked devices we see in the movies. His whole philospohy is that people must save themselves. If he was the mastermind behind this whole thing we see that he did not work alone. He worked along side Amanda, who he recruited. In Saw IV we see that he was also working along side the homocide detective. This explains how there was knowledge of criminal backgrounds and police actions as we see in the scene in the house where Amanda reappears and the connection between all of the game's participants had criminal records. The detective therefore seems to act as a scout for new players in Jigsaw's games. In previous Saw movies we see re-caps of previous deaths and what had happened, but there was one player we never see exactly what happened to him. The Doctor from Saw I. He cuts his foot off and we never see or hear anything about him after. Many of Jigsaw's devices are medical in nature. ie.: Surgically implanting a key behind someone's eye and then putting the eye back in surgically. (I believe that the man shown in the video inserting the key behind the man's eye walks with a limp!) Placing rods through a person's body through specific points but not hitting any vital organs, etc., etc., etc. They're all very medical in nature. So, it's my theory that Jigsaw is the combined efforts of the doctor, the old man, amanda, and the police officer. Outside of them I don't see many, if any, other characters that would make sense as being a part of this game. So, I guess I have to wait until next year to see if maybe I'm right about the doctor, eh?

2007-10-22 23:19:59 ET I like how my bank account totals quite a bit more than my annual salary and that i'm debt free. Hope I can keep it that way forever =p My new~ish job though... been kinda sucky. I'm looking to get out of there and move onto something better. This agency sucks balls.

2007-08-11 12:19:08 ET So, I was trying to find a new job. So, I was sending out resumes all over the place. Then one place calls me back and I didn't even have to harass them for an interview. Cool stuff. So, two days later I go to the interview and they were so impressed by me that they offered me a supervisors position right away and it pays over 50% more than my previous job. Score! My first official day will be Aug. 27th after I return from my vacation in Boston with my girlfriend. My girlfriend also just got a new job making way more money than me too heh... So, needless to say life if going pretty well right now! ;) 5 comments

Stuff I love.

2007-06-28 22:57:35 ET I love the following stuff: 1) my girlfriend, we've been together for... over two months... i'm not sure exactly when we began dating due to the rocky start of our relationship. Things are going great now though! 2) video games, this has been a long love affair i've had with video games... 3) food, i love food and drinks... nothing quite like a full belly and beer or a coctail 4) myself, i love myself... because. 5) family, i love my family... they're pretty cool... most of them anyway. 6) friends, i love all of my friends to pieces. I might love some other stuff too but not as much as this stuff. yup... 4 comments
