Jynx 2003-05-31 08:27:13 ET Last night was actually FUN...I worked with Hillary and a not-so-new new guy (he's worked at that store before, but he was before my time) who looks like Nicolas Cage. Anyhow, for some reason, the three of us are really productive, and we usually get out of there early. Phew! We were out of there at 9:43 last night (we close at 9:30)...and we had fun, too...which rarely happens. I started taking that pilly thing last night. I need to find a stop smoking class or something to go with it. Something that's just once a week. Anyhow...gotta go finish cleaning :]

Pilly B.C.'s can cause ovarian cancer and is even WORSE if you smoke... if it's birth control you're talking about, I recommend the I.U.D. small procedure and last up to 10 years. I'll probably get one myself... but they don't really tell you that birth control (pills, shots, patches) can raise your risk for cancer by like 10 fold, plus if you smoke... bad bad bad. risk of cancer + strokes... yea... uhm... sorry.

Jynx 2003-05-31 22:56:18 ET haha...no worries -- the pilly isn't B.C. it's a stop smoking aid. It's Zyban aka Wellbutrin (sp?) It's in the family of antidepressants, and sposed to help with the emotional side of quitting smoking. I found out something really cool from my Dr., though. She said that the nicotine is only in your system for 48 hrs, and that after that, it's all psychological. Once I'm off this pill, though, I'm going to go for B.C. (I don't wanna mix meds...even though it's probably safe, I just don't want to deal with two different sets of side effects)..and it will *have* to be something that's not in pill form because I'm really bad with taking medication. ANyhow, yeah n'stuff :]
