i fell asleep with my contacts in last night

Letrasiant 2007-04-13 09:53:20 ET So last night I saw And One and VNV Nation at the 9:30 club in DC, and afterwards went to Club Five to dance and party with Mark and Ronin. Sadly, I didn't get to see all of And One's set cause one of the friends I was driving showed up at my place late. Oh well. I saw Mark chest-slam another club-goer at Five... and then Ronin try and dance to some ditzy elektropop song on the smoking balcony. Got home around 4:00am and fell asleep with my contacts in... I totally didn't go to work today. Unfortunately, that means that I won't be able to take a trip to L.A. in a month, because I've already taken off 4 days in the past 2 weeks and if I take off any more work in the near future... they will be unhappy. Watched Crash today, though.

Letrasiant 2007-04-13 13:59:07 ET Well, they're always good. Unfortunately, I get claustrophobic so I had to stand in the back the entire time. I was mainly there to see And One, who was wonderful.

Letrasiant 2007-04-13 15:18:39 ET Hmm... 9:30 club is good-sized, though still not big enough I think for a show like VNV. I mean, I had already seen them live before so the only reason I went was And One.
