Yah, so its been a while since the game has come out. I have been very hesitant to play it because I am not a fan of the horror genre in general. They either are gore fests or rather cheesy psychological thrillers. But dead space does a reasonably good job of keeping things interesting. I love how there is no 'pause' button, and using a med kit is a risk in and of itself. Have not gotten much into the game but i like the whole atmosphere of it. Should be a good play.

How do you pause the game in any way then.

you have a pause menu, but opening your 'back pack' does not pause the game. but you can still look around.

So if something comes up IRL there isn't really shit you can do then to pause the game?

That would be very annoying.

You're also open to attack when you go to weapon upgrade stations and stuff so watch out for that as well.

That game was so much fun, I can't wait for the sequel.

I never beat it. It got tedious like doom3

It was pretty much a straight shot 2 nighter for me, no time for tediousness.

... I may have been closer to the end than I thought, haha

Probably, it isn't a super long game.

The game is strangly getting better. I'm used to the resident evil formula of fail. but this is kinda fun.

I really enjoyed Dead Space. I hated it at first because I thought they there were a lot of cheap tricks they did to scare you but i played it again and really enjoyed it. I've been on a space science fiction kick lately and would love to have more stuff set in that universe not just horror.

i do enjoy that they keep using the same trick over and over and then the part that really freaks you out is when NOTHING HAPPENS!
