This past week has been hazy.. I hardly saw any daylight, I'm so fucking jetlagged.

But it is good to be back :]

Leaving Las Vegas...    2003-11-05 10:33:28 ET
Well, leaving the USA, actually. this'll be my last post before my flight.. I'm flying off tomorrow noon from LAX, hopefully landing Friday noon. Oh, the humanity..

Vegas was awesome. I went to the comic-con thing, didn't pay anything to get in (the Israeli ingeniouity strikes again), and it was totally awesome. I'd never seen anything quite like it, and i got to meet cool folks like Roman Dirge (who I forced to draw me a pony)

LA hasn't been all it's cracked up to be.. We've mainly been trying to sell the car, and have hardly left Santa Monica... sux0rz... Sorry to all the soCal folks I won't be meeting.. It's just been really hectic and stressful, cuz I just gotta get rid of this damned car.

hopefully, we'll still manage to crank Matrix: Revoloutions into the schedule, so that'll be cool.. Or we might still make a run for Universal.. We'll see.

Anyway, bye folks! Bye America! You've been too great, but I'm anxious to go home already :)

I'm tired so I'll be brief..

I went to see Deftones. They were warmed up by Denali and some other crap-metal group. The venue (Cox Pavillion) looked like my gym from high school, and it was half empty. How sucky for Mr. Moreno. The concert itself was okayish - good energies and stuff, and the little crowd that came was very energetic jumpin all around and moshing like the teenagers they all were, but something was missing.. I dunno to pinpoint it, but it just wasn't as good as other concerts I've been to.

Other than that, it's all pretty usual. My days are filled with alcohol and roaming around casinos.
We drove out today to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon.. Can't say I saw too much in the Canyon, cuz by the time we got there it was already twilight, and together with the mist created from the pollution brought in from California, it wasn't as impressive as I would hope for. And it was also really cold, and we wanted to go back home already ;)

Sadly, I couldn't find any stores that sold trinitite. I've been looking for some since I got to Nuclear Test-land, with no luck up till now.

Tomorrow I'll probably be out on the ride on top of the stratosphere, and maybe go to the Venitian after I visit the Las Vegas Comics Convention (!)

I've never been to a real comicon. From what I've seen from movies and stuff, this should be amusing ;)
(and I'm still missing issue #2 of Death: High Cost of Living)

Sunday I head for LA.
Sadly, I'll be spending my days trying to sell the car.

 BURNINATING!    2003-10-29 10:13:34 ET
Vegas is so sleazy and so much fun.

We're staying with some friends of my sister, who just moved here from Hoboken, NJ. They showed me a good system for Roullettes.

Oh yeah, I put the 'bling' in 'gambling'.

Well, I actually lost like 10 bucks, but since I had 2 Coronas and a White Russian from those skimpy-dressed-grandma-cocktail-waitresses (puke), I think I'm still ahead ;-)

I'm startin to get concerned about gettin on my flight.
Because of the wildfires, and basically So.Cal. burning to the ground. The road from Vegas to LA is closed, and so is LAX airport, where I'm supposed to board.

Nevermind all the death and unmitigated destruction, I wanna go home..!

Viva Las Vegas!    2003-10-25 18:59:09 ET
hey hey! Just arrived in Bat Country!

We left Frisco, leavin a taste for more, and headed for Yosemite.. Pix will come eventually, I promise :)
It was pretty friggin awesome, let me tell ya.
Then we took the 95 to Vegas, passing through Nuclear Test Site Land ! Weeeee

So, now we're stayin' at some friends in Sin City, and we're gonna work on selling the car... We were hoping Nevada doesn't have California's stupid Smog laws, but we were wrong.. Hope that won't be a problem...

Anyway, times flyin by me, and I'm getting really anxious to get back... Really, I mean, it''s been awesome, but I'm done. I want my bed ;)
