Welp, I'm at the airport again. I've left Scotland for London, and now I'm in Heathrow, waiting for my flight to Schiphol, Amsterdam. |
I really liked my time in scotland, it was really terrific. I'll be coming here again sometime. Yesterday we went by ourselves to a day trip to Stirling. We visited Stirling castle, and just basically walked around. It's a really nice little town. The day before we visited The Edinburgh Dungeon. It's nice, but The London Dungeon is much better. Still, all good fun. We've finished our second bottle of scotch, in front of the tely. It's really neat, since we came back from our 4 day excursion, there's been a chapter of Hellraiser trilogy each night, and we watch it while drunk and munchies are availabe. Yay! Pinhead is cool. I like Clive Barker.
On another note I also finally finished Preacher book 1. Sheesh, that took longer than expected. Good reading though.
Well, anyway, that's all 4 now, I'll update sometime later, stoned out of my skull most probably.

Pheeew, well I'm back in Edinburgh. Me n' me mates went on a 4 day excursion to The Highlands and The Isle of Skye with Wild in Scotland.. It was pretty funky. The tour guy was a fucked up redheaded Scot, with a chip on his shoulder (especially when it came to talkin bout the English bastards) and funny as hell. We were with a bunch of Aussies and New Zealanders (I had no idea they were called "Kiwis"). I think I might've caught up a bit of my ozzie accent agan.. Hehhh... |
So lemme sum the tour up:
Day 1 - Linlithgow Palace, and up to William Wallace Memorial, finishing off in Fort William.
Day 2 - Isle of Skye. Fucking Beautiful. Did quite a walk up the Quirangs. Bloody hell worth it, though.
Day 3 - Some more Highland fun - Glenshiel, Glen Cluanie and Glen Garry. Finishing off at Eilean Donan Castle
Day 4 - visited the Loch Ness, quite boring actually. Culloden battlefield was pretty horrific. This place is where a few thousand scotts (Jacabites) were butchered, and is pretty much the reason why Scotland is still ruled from London.. We then finished off at Edradour Whiskey Distillery.
If I hear any more Scotch Whiskey propaganda, I'm gonna throw up. They fucking call it "The water of Life" and "your life-long friend" n' stuff. They're all mad here I tell ya, mad.
But I like em' :)
So anyway, now I'm back in Edinburgh. We might do a day in Stirling Castle or sumfin tomorrow. Our flight to Amsterdam is on the 14th, and I'll be there till the 24th.
here I am.
Here I am again.

So uhm, tuff is going on.|
I think I might be losing my mind.
I don't know what day it is. I don't remember anything. I haven't been sleeping well. I don't even consume too much drugs. Ho well, this must be the system shock of being released from the gritty grasps of the Israeli Defense Force. I know I got lottsa stuff to do (lucky I wrote them down), but really, I can't see myself leaving the house anytime soon (plus, my car's in the garage).
I saw my cute little cousin Saterday (did I write about this already? Agh. My brain is being eaten by little uhh brain-worms. yes.). I noticed she kept fiddling with her nose, so I jokingly asked her if she was snorting coke again (tsk tsk tsk ;) ). So she took me outside, and showed me her septum piercing. That's soo cute! She didn't even tell her brother she did one. She's hiding it from my uncle and aunt (she say's they just might kill her - and rightfully so, I might add, she's bloody 14 years old). Heh. I felt like the cool cousin who you can share secrets with. Neat! :) She also asked me to get her My Dying Bride CD from Europe (hopefully I'll have time in London to go to Ressurection records in Camden Town.., if not, then maybe in Amsterdam I'll find someplace). She's so cool, I love her. Only thing that pisses me off is that she hitchhikes. I know, I know, I useda hitchhike too when I was her age (and later ages too), but for fuck's sake, it's fucking dangerous out there. Not to mention my own personal life's trauma. I spoke of this with my sister, and she also immidoetly thought of Noa Eyal. She was brutally raped and murdered 5 years ago (wow, I can't believe it's been this long), after hitching a ride. Never found the guy.
This is one of those issues that keeps turning up in my life, as if it's constantly under the surface, just waiting for the right oppurtunity to rise again. It's one of those things that changes your outlook on everything.. You don't even notice, but it's affected everything in my life. My maturity, my cynicism, my initial disposition in relationships with women, (my fear of getting close to women), my anxiety of violent/aggressive or even assertive situations (I used to never have a problem with that), and ultimately, my avoidance. I'm not saying it defined who I am, but it certainly influenced or acted as a catalyst.
Once I start talking about this I really can't stop, can I? Fuck it. Fuck my life. I'm going to eat some cereal now, goddamnit.
