2004-03-28 16:39:56 ET

its +4*C

and there is a blizzard outside.

2004-03-28 16:42:46 ET

we just got done with our last (hopefully) snow dump/blizzard of the winter. if i tried to start a bbq right now, the meat would just "stay warm", lol.

2004-03-28 16:43:55 ET

haha.

2004-03-28 16:46:21 ET

i did it around moose season when I got a fresh kill. it seemed warm enough outside to do one last bbq, but it was colder than we thought. so the meat just "stayed warm". Grrrr....we threw the meat to the dogs and packed up to go back home.

2004-03-28 16:48:51 ET

2004-03-28 18:24:46 ET

Ah man its still close though lol....

2004-03-29 05:33:53 ET

I love moosemeat and caribou meat. I usually make moose jerky whenever I'm near my ex-father-in-law's place, so I can use his little smokehouse. Ohhh, my brine is made up of some parts of liquid smoke, soy sauce and/or L&P sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Everybody tries to be my buddy-buddy when I get it ready. But like I said, I haven't had any luck killing a moose in a couple, few years. :-)

2004-03-29 11:44:38 ET

yeh my rents just dri it straight up.

no spices. but they spice up their smoked salmon.

fer sure.
