the northern lights (aurora borealis) are outside right now.

i am soo used to them i forget that alot of you americans have never seen them ...unless you live in alaska.

they alwways look like souls travelling from th wearth to space to me.

oh were do you live.

we get really intense ones at least once a montyh but the weather has ben so screwy here this winter (if you can call it winter) we have been getting the, almost once a week.

i wish i had a video cam maria you would be exstatic. they are absolutly amazing. and all the recrations i have seen on tv are not even close to the real thing. we have many intersting things i the sky here.

I remember seeing a break in the clouds one night in Alaska... near Sitka on the ship.. just staring into the night... to see the dancing of lights in the sky.. it's so beautiful

oh yes it is.

did you get to see the really really intensly dancing all across the sky in a vast rainbow of colors ones.

wow i can only imagine whut it would look like on a ship. no trees around and just pure sky.
