2004-11-17 06:56:15 ET My trip to Tahoe, if I didn't say earlier, was because my youngest sister was in The Miss Tahoe Pagent. This is on the Miss America Circut for anyone knows about pagents. The contestants are required to have a two minute talent act, Explain their platform, answer a current political or moral question on the spot, Look confident as they walk accross stage in a bathing suit, in an evening gown, and in a casual outfit. My Sister won! She is now Miss Lake Tahoe 2005. She also won Miss congeniality. This side award is given by all the girls in the pagent. they vote who they think is the most caring, and fun and like being in the competition with the most. She won almost 2,000 in scolarship money and she'll have to make a number of public appearances over the next year. Our next trip will be to fresno, in july, to watch her compete for the Miss California tittle. And if She wins there... It's off to Atlantic City To win Miss America.
