I get married in just under three weeks.
I have two papers, two lighting designs, a pattern drafted to fit me perfectly, 15 water color figures, a mock costume design for two greek plays, and a photoshop rendering due before I waltz down that isle.
my parents live 10 hours away. they are good for the paying part, not close enough nor are they at all familar with the area. I get stuck with all the busy work.
just finished that particular pain in the behind...lol...the planning sucks, but once its all going it seems like you float through it...you'll survive..and you'll come out with so much more...
it went great...lol...absolutely crazy leading up to it, but at about noon the day of (halloween by the way, i love my anniversary) i entered this total zen state..whatever was going to happen was going to happen, good or bad..as long as aaron was waiting for me at the end of that aisle the rest of it really didn't matter...one of the best days of my life..
for the actual wedding it was just standing there and staring into his eyes...its like the whole place just melted away while he was reciting his vows...
of the reception it was the comedian i hired to do a suprise roast of the whole wedding party...lol..it was hilarious...
no..we couldn't really think of words to say what we wanted to say..and the judge who preformed the ceremony was a family friend..and the ones he came up with were perfect..
we did this whole mafioso theme...and the comedian came in as my italian godfather..only me and my dad knew about it...everyone laughed so hard....
that's awesome..we were just so afraid that we would make it comedy...lol..we're joke oriented people, and we figured that the occasion called for something a little more solemn..
