birthday in the works

Today is my husband's birthday. He is 28 today. I have a crust made that is going to be an apple pie after classes today. He has requested I make pizza for dinner. (I make a really yummy pizza that has not gluten in the crust and no lactose in the cheese) Tonight we are going to see Much ado about nothing at the La jolla playhouse. and the fun doesn't end there!

Saturday I have planned a murder Mystery dinner and invited some good friends. We shall all dress up and play suspects connected to the death of a film and TV heart throb. If you have never been apart of a murder mystery dinner party. I suggest you go out to the nearest game store. Pick a kit up and invite friends. It's alot of fun.

Food planning for this is somewhat an adventure. I am making mulled wine and apple cider for starting coctails.
appetiser will be a veggie plate. I am thinking about trying to make this really cool artichoke thing I had at a resturant recently but I am not sure I can. Dinner has not been determined. I am skimming my cookbooks looking for something glamourous. Dessert will be another apple pie, dulce de leche, and or mudslides. there will be eleven of us with different food resrictions and requirements. This is an intersting meal to plan.

I think it all sounds wonderous! And not because you're a bad cook (I LOVE your cooking) but I was wondering if I could bring a dish? If bringing one would offend you, I understand. Let me know!

Bringing a dish would not be offensive at all. I was thinking about going ittalian. I have corn pasta that doesn't have gluten but is yummier than rice pasta. I thought that it would satisfy all preferences. I was going to make a soup for a starter. murder movies always have soup. anyway.. what were you thinking?

I was thinking about sauted veggies on gluten free bread. How's that sound? ^_^
