2002-11-27 11:00:04 ET i am wearing earplugs now. i bought them at home depot on a whim, one of my "crazy ideas" to help me think. and for the first time in YEARS i can concentrate. i get such a feeling of peace from this silence that i am motivated to do anything i wish. sometimes i think that this feeling is the norm for everyone else, that their mind is clear like this at all times, and not racing with noise that goes so fast that i can't even see it. and i feel like i've been cheated out of something so precious. |
