My new favorite band.

William Shatner has placed his foot print in the proverbial Greg Maglio walk of fame. He was always a hero of mine until he left his wife to drown in the pool some years back but he has since reconciled such things with his: -role as Denny Krane on Boston Legal -silly music

tetesuro 2004-10-10 11:24:34 ET Yeah but he didn't bother to pull her out before calling 911. Then again, how could you pull dead weight soon enough to save a life? I guess you can't blame him for calling for help first.

LeoZ 2004-10-10 16:43:03 ET He did the right thing. He didn't know what type of injuries she might have had. It's like they tell you in first aid training: If you don't know what's wrong with the person then don't move them.

tetesuro 2004-10-10 17:43:47 ET Yeah, I understand your point. I just remember how the media panned him with the tape of the 911 call. The 911 operator actually asked him if he got her out of the pool. I really don't think he could've even if he tried. That would've been time wasted from getting in touch with the proper rescue personal.
