This seems like quite a challenge. I'm going to do it, though. I don't know if I'll finish, but I'm going to give it a shot. My friend Drave posted about it in his LJ, so I'm trying to spread the word to any writers who might be interested :]
Anyhow. Color class yesturday was mindnumbing. I think I would have gotten more out of it if I'd been exposed to their system of color already, but I haven't, so I'm all like, "Wha??"
Well...gotta finish getting ready for class....WOOOOOOO :P

i have new hair again :P I just can't leave it alone. It's all cool and stuff...WITH PURPLE! ::excited::
We had a super-classy alfresco dinner last night with a couple friends. Loki made his SPECTACULAR fettucini that could kick the shit out of anyone else's fettucini...EVER. We drank four bottles of fabulous wine, and had Blackberry Cabernet gelato.
Yeah,,,good stuff.
This morning I woke up to kid's shows on TLC, so when I fell asleep, my dreams were in little kid form. Like Brum the old-fashioned rols was like a guard dog for his friends...and apprehended a theif....and then my dreams took on that form...it was so wierd.
Bah....back to bed with my womanpain.

I am lame and slept through said party...Bah humbug on me...but man, I must have been more exhausted than I thought. I went to sleep at 8:30...and woke up almost at nine am. Crazy stuff. Yeah...

So...as I'm sure none of you really care, but I'm just finally getting around to updating about my new job :]
To put it frankly, I feel like I belong there. It's only been two weeks, and I really feel like I've been there for ages.
The job its self isn't terribly exciting because I'm at the bottom of the totem pole. I get to be the laundry wench temporarily until I get my apprenticeship license. When I get that, I'll be able to assist the stylists out on the floor and be able to interact with the clients.
Another thing that piqued my interest is that some of the stylists have told me that they get a lot of clients who came from Festoon because they got bad haircuts there. They come and tell us their horror storey experiences from that salon, haha...so someone somewhere was looking out for me when things didn't work out there. I am unbelievably happy with the way things have turned out.
Not to mention that the owner, Peter, is the sweetest boss ever. He constantly thanks his employees for doing a good job and very diplomatically tells them when they're doing something wrong by saying, "That's great, and I appreciate what you're doing, here, but maybe this way would work a little better." Super sweet guy. He makes me want to work for him, not because I'm intimidated by him, but because I respect him and want to please him because he is a good person, brilliant stylist, and lights up the room when he walks in.
Anyhow, I'm sleepy...I'm gonna take a little nap and then I GET TO GO TO A PARTY!!!! YAYAYAY!!! PARTYPARTYPARTY! :]
