When I got home from work tonight, I got TACKLED by a bundle of brown and white cuteness. It was awesome.
My "boyfriend-in-law" (ie. Dylan's Dad) got me a gift cert. for Amazon.com. WEWT! I bought a book on Special Effects makeup :] ::excited:: I can't wait til it gets here. Won't be here for a couple of weeks probably...bummer.
Ugh...house is a mess...tons of shit to do for school...There aren't enough hours in the day...bleh...I go make coffeiz.
mmmmmmm...coffee (yes, I *did* just get home from work, and I *do* work at a coffee shop...but no, I *didn't* drink enough coffee today :P )

blahbeblahblahBLAH! Fuck stupid neurotic grumpy people to work with....grrrr....I was having a good day until *she* showed up. :[ Made me a super grumpaluphagus until a little while ago...oh, well...at least I'm not there, now.
I got some Charley Chaplin films from Movie Image...YAY! :] I wanted to get some Buster Keaton, too, but I didn't want to get too many movies at one time (between Dylan and I, we rented six). Buster Keaton will be next time ::excited:: Buster Keaton is the best antidepressant. I wish I owned some of his films.
ANyhow...my best friend is coming over in a bit. Having guy troubles. Poor lady. I'll have to try to cheer her up with some Charley Chaplin, although Buster Keaton would work better...and I don't even want to think about how much homework I have to do...blech.

We saw the Matrix last night...OMG...it was so yummy. There were a few bits we noticed that could have been done better...like the dreddie twins had hair pieces that were secured with spirit gum. Why didn't they just give them dred-extentions and spray them white? C'mon people, don't spend the money to commission a hair piece, when you can do better. Buttnuggets...I don't want to point out the other makeup flaws, cuz if you don't notice them, they won't bother you. But *I* noticed them so they bothered *me* :P Oh, and BTW...fuck the dragon thing for Halloween, I'm gonna be a twin...who's with me?? Mel, you should be a twin with me :] I'll do your hair and makeup :D...oh...and I loved how in the end, they...haha...no, I won't spoil it :P
Anyhow. It feels so good to have a goal that is realistic, now. Like, I'm finally going somewhere, not just sitting here feeling unaccomplished and useless, wondering if I'll ever get to do the stuff I want to do. I'm doing it, finally. ::bounces:: No more thinking, no more researching, no more worrying about expensive schools, none of that. All I have to do is find a sponsor salon. Anyone in the San Francisco bay area work in a salon that's looking for an apprentice at the end of the summer?

IT"S HAPPENING!!! THE REST OF MY LIFE IS HAPPENING!!! I'M NO LONGER IN A HOLDING PATTERN!!!
I got my fed. tax return today which means...APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have an appt. on monday to fill out paperwork and stuff, and then either june or july, I'll have to do the orientation (depends on my work schedule, and if I can switch with anyone, should I need to). AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Then classes start in August, which gives me all summer to find a salon to sponsor me...AND they have some resources to use to find a salon.
WOOOOOOOOFUCKINGOOOOOOT!!!! YAY! ::does happy dance::
