Woop, woop...the second-to-last of the bday festivities are tonight. My parents are taking me and Loki out for my bday dinner. We would have done it Thursday night, but Loki had class, so we postponed so he could come.
The last isn't happening until June. It will be a combined bday family thing for myself, my dad, my adopted aunt Dee, and my mom, but she doesn't know it, yet.
Anyhow, we're going to an italian restaurant on Solano that looked good. My parents are running late due to doggie difficulties, so I have a while.
I got so much homework done today. I was flyin'! haha. I'm done with my math. All I have left is the final, and a couple of chapter tests. I will be done by this week, but hopefully tomorrow will be my last day there. I also made a decent dent in my computer HW, which rocks my WORLD...WEWT.
Last night was nice. It wasn't the best party I've ever thrown, but the company was good, the food was good...I think everyone had a fairly good time...I hope :P Damn....makin' me hungriez...can't snack, gotta wait...can't snack, gotta wait....grrrrr...:P I still have a ton of May Wine left. Most of it will probably go to waste, but that's ok. I overestimated how many people would drink it. Maybe I can send some home with my folks :P

It's my party tonight. The weather is ok so far, but I don't know if it will stay that way...what if nobody shows up? What if everyone shows up and nobody has fun? What if it rains?? What if nobody likes the food? What if there isn't enough booze? What if my head explodes? AGHHHH...I somehow talked Dylan's brother into bbqing for us tonight...he is AWESOMETACULAR with BBQ. So even if nobody shows up, or if everyone shows up, but nobody has fun, we'll still have good eatinz.
Gah...so nervous.

So today was AWESOMETACULAR. Well, it's not over yet, but so far, this has been the best bday EVER! :] My mom and I went and bought flowers this morning :] When we got home, we put on some Loreena Mckennett (sp?), made crowns of flowers and a wreath. Shortly thereafter, we made chocolate cake (I painted a dragon on it with icing, haha!), and drank some May Wine. POSIES ROCK MY WORLD!! HOOOORRAAAAYYY FOR POSIES!!! :]
Now, I need a wooden goblet to make a may cup with...but I'll deal with that later :P
Next year, I totally want to plan ahead...and since Mayday will be on a friday next year, maybe I can get an actual Mayday celebration together (Starr, wanna help?? :P) With a Maypole, and a big ol' meal and hell of May Wine, and dancing...it would be super fun, i think.
ANyhow, time for nicotine and dinner ;] HAPPY MAYDAY, ALL!!!!!!

Wow...so, like...in an hour, I will be 22. I'm afraid there won't be enough hours in the day tomorrow. We have to tire the dog out so that when we're doing mayday stuff, she's not in the way...Mom wants to take me out for a bday breakfast. We're making wreaths for our heads, cuz it's mayday...and because I said so :P...THEN we bake!!! YAY!! I haven't baked with my mom since I was a kid. We are gonna make cake...yum. Unfortunately, this cake is not for saturday...I kind of wish it was, though, because I was gonna get a cake...a big one...with custard in the middle, and icing that was like coolwhip...but I ran out of money too fast. In fact, it's quite possible I may be in the negatives, but I'm not sure. My math is bad.
Here we go...the downward spiral that becomes the birthday blues for Shan. No. Going to have a good bday this year. For fucking once. Fuck you, Bday blues, you can't get me down.
Ok...smoke, then bed....then BDAY! wewt.

I'm at my parents' house atm. I had fun today. My mom met up with me at my local store of occulty goodness, and I got the hard-to-find ingredient for May Wine. YAY FOR WINE WITH STRAWBERRIES IN IT! yum.
I also made myself a bday crown. I bought a pretty sparkly for it today, too. A nice dark Amethyst nestled next to a shimmery purple butterfly wing amidst a bunch of peacock feathers.
My dad just gave me a riddle. Does anyone know it? My brain is fried:
There are three words in the english laguage. ONE of them is Angry, and another ONE is Hungry. What is the third? It says that if you've listened very carefully, it's given you the third word, but my brain is fuzzy from a hard day of shopping, haha.
Ok, I'm gonna go have a cigarette and then veg out on the couch...hooray for vegging.
You know, I just realised...this is the first year in a long time that I'm looking FORWARD to my bday. I'm all excited and giddy like a child...hence why I'm turning four and not 22 :P
