2005-10-06 09:12:36 ET I saw something really strange on my way to work this morning. I was pulling out of my housing edition and turned and saw this little girl, about 3 or 4 in her pjs (dora pjs haha) barefoot running from the back of this house that sits on the corner. Now...I sat there for a minute waiting to see if maybe she was just taking off running from someone but no one came after her, and she made it down the road and down my road which is a cul-de-sac so i called my mom and asked her if i should go tot he police station and report it, and she said yes since it's on my way i might as well so i did. the reason i didn't go after her is cause i didn't want someone to think it was kidnapping her and i didn't go knock on the door cause a) i don't like thos people anyway, they keep an akita in a small (and i mean small) fenced in concrete area in their back yard year round..so they're already on my bad side. and b) if she ran off cause they hurt her i didn't want to give them a heads up so they could punish her more or something you know? anyway so i reported it. not sure hwat happened after that cause he didn't get my number to check back with me, just my name, so i hope she's ok. but i knew if i didn't say something it'd bug the shit outo f me all day long. |
