I'm an urban fashion designer here in Chicago, originally from Milwaukee. I shared a domicile there with my parents, until a couple of years ago. Too much negativity. If they can't appreciate what I do, or respect my lifestyle, then fuck them.

But, yeah, I totally agree. You've got nothing to hide, nor be ashamed of. I think it's just sad when family can't at least respect the things that make their family members happy. You'd think that's all that people would want for their family. (Well, and health and all that...but that's all independent of sexual orientation!)
