Wasted Youth 2003-08-18 12:41:44 ET well about the show all i can say for now is it fukken rooled. BUT i did get a pritty harsh blow to thw side of the head in the mosh pit. and now i cant hear right.....and it fukken hurtz. liek mad crazeee.

Rebelina 2003-08-18 14:55:51 ET ahh.. fun. i like local gigs, but you never know. i spent 2 hours yesterday driving around getting lost looking for 2 shows that ended up not happening. either that or we were completely lost. cuz the streets were dark and quiet =(

InsertNameHere 2003-08-18 17:00:30 ET i think i'm the only person in the world who listens to asskickin music, but hates pits. i guess i got freaked out at my first concert when i saw a 300 pound muscle-bound behemoth rearing back and driving all of his weight into each punch into the scrawny teens around him. kinda scared me away from those things. then there's the family thing of the easy bruising. i wish i had gone to a show last night...

Rebelina 2003-08-19 00:44:59 ET really? i'm spoiled living in cali. there's shows every weekend, especially since it's summer. alot of them aren't always worth going to though. i never really go in pits voluntarily, sometimes they open up around me, esp. at bigger shows, and i kind of have to work my way out. i only get crazy enough to jump in a pit when its a band i really like, and it makes no sense since i have to stop concentrating on the music and worry about not getting hurt. if there were more girls in pits NOT so bent on destruction i wouldn't mind joining in.

Elephant Pistachio 2003-08-20 10:07:43 ET mosh pits scare me too, ben i can understand why people feel the need to let themselves react to the music, that's cool. it just bothers me when people feel the need to launch themselves on me, throw bottles/lit objects at/on me, and generally ruin the show.
