Anyone else disgusted by the support for Chris Brown and his clear lack of remorse while he jet skis. I can't decide whether I'm more disgusted by him or her for taking him back. I'm also disgusted by what appears to be some sort of weird conspiracy to keep his career going at the detriment of hers. I used to like her and her music. Now she just looks like a stupid little twit to me.

i am. you never hit a woman, period, ever. Things would be way different if he werent a celebrity.

She is totally pining away for him too. Its just sad and ridiculous.

I hate that it's turned into a nitpicky critique of their relationship, per se, when it could be a wider dialogue about domestic abuse in general. :(

It's a huge psychological issue with women who take back their abusers, no matter your social status. It will take another, maybe many more, instances and psych help before she leaves for good.

Bugsy - TOTALLY agree. So many other issues are constantly brought forth by celebrity abuse/involvement, I feel like this issue is being skimmed over.

Chris Brown is worthless.
And though he may claim self defense, he thorugly beat her.

And I agree that abuse should be talked about more. I feel like sometimes the blame can go on her for not leaving, but it's the most important to look at him and remind him that it's never ok to hit a woman and hitting people doesn't get you anywhere.

I agree that is really sucks what happened to her, but at the same time there is word that he has hit her before. So at some point I start to lack sympathy when women stick around when they are getting the crap beat out of them repeatedly. And although she probably just wanted to be a singer, she is now a role model simply because she is famous. She should set an example and dump his ass, and he should be prosecuted for this-but instead there are pics of him all over the place having a fine time on a jet ski - yeah he really seems sorry.

i agree. and it's time to speak out against it. he has no remorse and things will not change. his sister or cousin or something was interviewed about it and said "i wonder what she did to him to make him so mad?" and that shouldn't even be a thought.

Seriously! I know a couple chicks that fights like dudes-so when they go off on someone I can see them getting pushed or held down. But he bit her fingers and she had big contusions on both sides of her head. She is a skinny little thing. How much damage could she really have done?! Oh, and Suge Knight (oh yeah, cuz if I needed a character witness, i'd call him) says he is standing by Chris Brown because he performed and say happy b-day to his niece for her b-day party. Seriously? That's all it takes. I also think it is curious that they are only asking "artists" in the rap/hip-hop "community". First everyone said Rihanna was like a "little sister" to them. Now there are all "hoping for the best" for "both of them." Something is fishy here.
