2003-08-20 22:20:30 ET best day ever. so tony and i decide to get together eat some dinner and the like. why? cause i haven't seen the kid in like over a year. so he comes and gets me. which is fancy. you know the day is gonna be good when you almost kill two police officers. in all honesty we totally didn't see them. funny thing was we were both staring straight. and into starbucks sunland v1.0. which is weird creepy and a parrelel universe. we head to toi. i get my yellow curry on. major chit chatting and the like. it was great. he's exactly how i remember him. and he still has that sense of humor i love. so, after that we head to hollywood/highland. and while we are driving on hawthorne there is this big concert setup. i look and begin to freak out. tony swerves almost hits a bus and i continue to freak out. i finally get the words out of my head. "holy shit. its dave GAHAN!!" and scream. we park. and run. i haven't run in years. but i run for you, mr. dave gahan. we're standing there and the fence and the secrutiy gaurd comes up. great! were being kicked out. so as i'm about to beg him for mercy. he says, "hey, you kids wanna go in?" i pass out. ok not really but still. i'm about to through all of my belongings at him and say keep em. but he takes my holga and tells me to come back. i skip over to the crowd and dance my booty off. dave played four/five songs. 2 new, 2 depeche. it was like a mini depeche mode concert. personal jesus, never let me down again, dirty stick floor, and two others i can't remember. i remember harmonica, and a slow song. any how. it rocked. i'm still all excited and giddy from that. after the show, we ended up going to hollywood/highland to buy shoes. but first i make a phone call to brag to home. while i'm doing so i get the feeling eyes are burning me. i turn around to see the back of a friend/ friend's ex girlfriend and her friend. now she always comes up to me while drunk off her ass at the club. but prefers to ignore me while sober. so meh. anyhow. i pranced around with tony looking for shoes. woooooooo. and it was great. and i wanted to blast sephora with my money. but that didn't happen cause they were all out. now i'm home and all hyper. gloomy bear forever. <3 xoxoxoxoxo |
