2003-06-23 14:34:43 ET ok, I dont know who remembers but I posted a little while ago about talking to my aunt whom Id never met. she told me she would see me at a family reunion. well, thats all over now and you get to hear all the exciting details! day one: fathers day, bbq+swimming= I GOT FRIED... Im still a little burnt but damn those steaks were good. day two: my great grandma went with us all to ocean journey (its an aqaruim type of thingy)and a shark tried to eat me. me and my two cousins, Shayne and Rachel, went with me on this simulator thing that we asumed would have something to do with the ocean but was really an out of control snowplow. day three: six flags. we went when they opened and rode every single thrill ride. I did that massive swing thing with my uncles. they strap you onto this massive cord and pull you up to about 400ft (my ears popped)and drop you. at first you just drop, then you go forward, and back, and forward again. they were supposed to close at 10pm but a lot of people left so they had to close at nine. I was sad. I got a really cool hat. day four: Rockies game. good old fashioned base-ball game. we got to have the best peanuts in america. they were alright. I got a call from kreg while I was there and my uncle chewed him out and said my dad was big and mean ( I giggled at that). day five: went hiking at garden of the gods. had dinner at flying W. told a kid jackalopes were real, I should have gotten a grammy I was so convincing. day six: supposed to go to butterfly pavilion but we had too much to do. we went to bellview and rode a train. we had girls afternoon out ( we went shopping... and I m not sure why.) then we ate at casa bonita, the monkey scared my cousins and everyone laughed at me for asking for butter with my sopapia. day seven: pictures... thats all.. day eight:kiddy amusement park. I got sick on the way and was too big to ride anything anyway, very sad. day nine: FAT CITY! perhaps the most fun place to be at any given moment. for $30 we bowled, played laser tag, played video games, bumper cars, and went a round of mini golf. we are leaving tonight but tommorow they are all going to the mint and wednesday that are swimming. this was a bit more fun than I expected. if you read all of this you are very special to me and I will get you a gift. |
