 So the above is Quinten getting forcked for 2nd class. He looks thrilled doesn't he? Ever since he has been on that ship he has hated his career in the Navy. He isn't proud of any of his acomplishments and he doesn't even feel like he has acomplished anything. Its so frustraiting to see his efforts and hardwork blown off and not acknowledged. It took him three tries to make second because his cheif didn't like him. He scored higher than 80% of the people who took the test but because of his eval he didn't make second the first two times. Its a miracle that once that cheif left the ship he makes it. HMMMM... He has just given up now on being a good sailor and just does his job like a zombie. We are both counting down the days until he gets out. The Navy, namely the Mitscher, has really made him feel worthless and we are done with it.

I just went and bought all I need to make Thanksgiving dinner. It cost me less than 70 dollars. I was really happy. I have to go get groceries for the next couple of weeks now and I'm not looking forward to going to any grocery store. It was insane today. Any ways thats all. |
Quinten just made 2nd! Finally it was stupid that he didn't make it the 1st time. I'm so glad even if we are getting out in about 8 months. lol |
