...I didn't. My post for Feb. 26, 2008 Day 2  Well this wasn't the planned shot but things got so hectic I wound up leaving my camera at home and not getting the shot I wanted. Quinten has been gone for a week. I really miss him. Its a horrible feeling. I took a concealed carry course at Bob's gun shop yesterday. Infact I was going to take a picture of the store and that was going to be the one I posted for yesterday. Maybe I'll cheat and take it today and post it anyways. I passed the course and got my certificate no problem. I was really nervouse so to hear the range officer tell me I am a good shot really boosted my confidence. I still have a huge problem of anticipating my shot. It made me start to aim high and to the left. I still got all of my shots where I was supposed to though. I'll go to the circut court on the first after we get paid and get the paper work and pay for my permit. I should have it before I move home. I'm really excited. Well I suppose that is all for day 2. Hope everyone is well. |

ME I am starting a new photography project, and I figured I would start with today. Why today what better day to start then the anniversary of when I was brought into this world. Its been 22 years now, and I have been inspired. I saw the unfinished idea from someone on flickr. She was doing what I am starting today, but unlike her snapshots I am going to set my photographs up in a more artistic way. Everyday I am going to take a picture(probably several) and post it here on SK. Every day for an entire year. They will be of things I am doing people I am hanging out with, places I visit. Most of the time I will try and post the reason I took the picture and what it is about. I just really thought it was a cool idea and a great way to document the year. So here is my first photo.  This is me, Shandra Lenore Jenkins. I got dressed up and did my makeup to take some photos today. I get bored and I always turn to my camera. |
