So I have been looking to the future since I need to have some sort of plan on what I am going to do when I move back home. I know that eventually I want to go back to school, but I am still not sure for what.
I have thought about photography a lot. I am worried though it won't bring in the income that my family needs. Also the town where we will be living has well established photographers already. I have just recieved word though that one of the older photographers plans to retire in the next couple years. It has renewed my hope to turn my passion into a job that I love to do. I still think that there is a lot of risk in going to school for something that may not be put to use. If photography had the salary that lets say nursing did(the other degree I have been thinking about going to school for) there would be absolutely no question as to what I would go to school for.
Honestly thinking about going to school for anything else breaks my heart a bit. I don't want to do something just to make money. I want to do something because I enjoy it and if I can make money doing it thats wonderful. I'm just so worried about my family and supporting them, wich definately comes before my wants and needs. I just really wish there was a way that I could do something I really love and also be able to support my family.
