Disappointed

jenkins2921 2010-05-01 17:12:55 ET I tried to use just the manual focus and manual settings on my camera, and i though I was doing pretty well, but no. Once I got them on my computer they def were not as focused as I thought they were. In some of them it didnt even focus on what I wanted it to. :( I'm pretty frustraited. This one was taken today at work. What I usually have on my desk. My coffee cup, phone and calculator.

I have purchased a 200mm additional lens so far, which I love btw, but I am working with another photographer who is teaching me about manual shooting, she makes it look so easy. I just want to flip the auto switch...lol. But I have gotten some pretty nifty pics on accident with the manual! What are you shooting with?

jenkins2921 2010-05-02 09:32:10 ET I use a Sony Alpha 350. I don't have any additional lenses for it yet. I need to get a new zoom lens and I would like to get a wide angle lens for it. I am thinking about takeing some photogrpahy classes. I have had no type of training.

Memories 2010-05-02 18:26:20 ET I am going to be starting some formal classes in August. I am excited about it, can't wait. nothing has made me so happy in a long time as taking pictures. It is very freeing.
