morale has slipped a lot in the past 2 days. i think that my soul is under attack from the enemy. I've been down a lot and felt more out of control than I've felt in a while. I need to break through this. Its affecting my daily routine too much.

yesterday was awesome! We went to chow at around 18:00. After that, our rock band performed a few numbers then we had a Luao! We watched an hour and a half show of hula dancers (drool), performers, musicians, and fire dancers! It was a LOT of fun! We got to feel as though we weren't in the desert for a while.

My band buddies and I ran a 5k with division this morning to celebrate asian-pacific heritage month. It was a lot of fun! I finished in about 28 minutes I think. We got free shirts too! Got my pt done early in the morning too! Its shaping up to be a nice day!

We got mortared 5 times last night! I don't know what tha was about. We have never been mortared that many times consecutively since I've been here.
Yesterday was a really good day! We had a great Bible study in the band and our commander joined us as well.
I'm sorry that I don't have time to check everyones posts. I know that I have a lot of people on my buddy list. I really wish I could talk to you all individually everyday. I only have a limited amount of time on the computer and have a zillion emails to write and a lot of posts to make. I do think about each of you individually everytime I log on though. much love to all of you

I smelled a young lady wearing perfume today. Wow, i hadn't smelled that in I don't know how long. One tends to forget, being out here, how much that dimention adds to the attractiveness of a woman.
