Latin band started up the other day. That was good. We have an all-day rehersal tomorrow. Hopefully we get a gig thrown together. Nothing is new here. The power goes out everyday from around 15:00 to about 23:00 *bleh* Today was actually the first day it stayed on. *gets slapped in the back of the head by buddy* "DAMNIT MILLER, YOU JINXED IT!!" The internet has been out of what feels like months! So, it was a nice change to actually get to go online today.

I just enjoyed a Charamel Machiato triple from Starbucks, bought a wu-tang clan cheezy kung-fu video, and admired the view. I am going to be truely let down when we have to return to Camp Victory in Baghdad whenever that is. However, on a positive note, our commander has made talk of us coming back here quite often to play morale gigs.

The most amazing thing just happened and I had to tell you about it!!! My friend Chad and I were in the food court at the px when we were approached by a sergeant first class. He says,"We have a choir ready to perform at the chapel and it wasn't very well publicized, we'd love if you were able to attend. They perform here in about five minutes." We found the chapel and sat down to listen to the choir. This was not only a choir, it was a choir made up of 5 to 7 year old children from across the world-Philippines, China, Korea, America, Africa. They were SO cute! They sang 4 songs to us about the Lord. Then they had the small group of soldiers gathered to watch them come and stand in the front of the sanctuary. They had us kneel, they laid their hands on us and prayed for our safety! It made my day!! I just had to share that with you! I hope you are having a wonderful day! :)
