I just kept hitting that like and subscribe button apply button until I got in, and they had a system that auto-responded to all previous applications after X days.

turboskanker 2022-07-14 18:44:24 ET ha. given my career history as a creative prof. who's basically always preferred lower case, i highly doubt that, as it's never once been an issue. ESPECIALLY in a place like the bay area. clearly this place just isn't running a very tight ship.

I've gotten that same exact message almost word for word from other places i've applied to. just fluff your resume with whatever BS keywords they're calling out in the job description and their algorithm will place you at the top.

IMHO if hiring departments want to be that dependent on automated systems that are mostly just going to land them idiots, that's their loss. also in fairness this was just a PT thing for a nonprofit so not exactly anything i would have stayed at very long had i gotten it anyway. still amusing that it sent two very disparate messages, out of order, weeks apart. lol
