the ice cream was the actual KETO™®© brand stuff and let me just say i would HIGHLY recommend it, at least based on the butter pecan stuff i had. i'm curious to try other flavors but it was fucking delicious and the best low carb ice cream i've yet had. it also didn't turn my stomach into a perpetual aching shart machine afterwards like some brands of ice cream (looking you håäáâgen dazszszssszz) do.
as for the ghostbusters quote, while i certainly understand that sentiment, at this point having watched, at the very least, much of who trump has allowed into his campaign and to actually engage with and talk to him this time around, vs the absolute and utter genuine psychopathy that is kamala harris and her entire fucking record )also the utterly psychotic levels of out-and-out fascism happening under her and demented joe brandon currently) i have come to the conclusion that, at least so far as voting goes, i am left with no other tactical choice but to vote for trump. hell i voted for fucking three republicans this time around including 2 others locally in california because, as a staunch and principled leftist and socialist (at least by historical american standards and current global standards) they are suddenly the ones running on a pro-environment / anti-capitalist-corporate-greed / anti-corruption / pro-bodily-autonomy / pro-health-and-wellbeing / anti-war platform whereas their democratic rivals are not.
so uh, fucking whatever i guess. i mean i know that the republicans technically started as the progressive party of lincoln but after the souther strategy and everything after who in the fuck could have predicted this. the democrats really have become 100% neocons. FFS trump (who's dumb enough to endlessly repeat GOP talking points around "socialism" and "communism" demonstrating he has zero clue what either of those terms actually mean, but oh well a lot of americans don't) just came out in favor of america having its own version of norway's 100% socialist policy of the country collectively owning most of its wealth and assets in a sovereign wealth fund where the people collectively decide who spends the money where and no capitalist asshats get to just sit on it and hoard it anymore. fuck if i know who put this idea in his head but ok shut up and take my vote and we'll see what happens.
all i know for certain is that anyone who knows kamala's utterly and wholly psychotic track record would come easily to the same conclusion a ton of us have on the left and otherwise - that she'd absolutely be the absolute worst and most psychotic and purely fascist president this country has ever seen.
