2026-06-25 21:43:49 ET uh oh this is KIND OF A LIFE RELATED ENTRY but NOT TO WORRY it will RAPIDLY BECOME MORE GENERALLY TOPICAL INSTEAD though i cannot promise it will include poop. sorry. so, while in the process of trying to figure out how the fuck to get the stuff i have in shitty-landlord-eviction-apartment moved to temporarily-staying-with-friend-place in as quickly and efficiently a manner as possible, while also basically having no money at all, i've been reaching out to basically whatever-the-fuck agencies i get referred to locally to see if any of them have some sort of options or applicable help as such. my journeying as such today took me to a place that one of the previous places i'd gone to gave me as a possible option to see if they have funding and / or other options for help with moving. the TLDR version there is they did not. the place, however, well let's just say the place itself is proof positive that the gubmint under trump sure as shit hasn't stopped heavily funding The Trans Agenda™ just as much as the fucking biden administration was - which of course they haven't. they love anything they can turn into idpol to use to pit the proletariat against each other and it doesn't matter who's in office or what they pretend their views on Trans™ are when they're on TV or at a podium pretending they care so much about _insert_alleged_constituency_here_ because, of course, _insert_other_alleged_constituency_here_ are evil and bad and you should be paranoid of your neighbor all the time but definitely trust whoever Our Fearless Leader President Oligarch Mouthpiece is, they'll surely save you BUT LOOK OUT YOUR NEIGHBOR WHO MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE A DIFFERENT GENDER THING THAN YOU IS GONNA GET YOU I BET. ...ahem. so anyway yeah this clearly gubmint funded spot i went is called TransThrive™. now i tend to avoid basically anything, org or otherwise, that bills itself front-facing as "trans" anything, cause (much like the majority of san francisco, i assure you, don't believe what you hear) i pretty much hate idpol, am staunchly politically independent insofar as US politics are concerned, and, as much as i love my trans friends (kurt metzger takes them into the green room and fucks the shit out of them! (jimmy dore live show reference i'm sure no one here will get oh well don't care)), i am quite loathe to The Trans Agenda™ and its accompanying endless "both sides" demagoguery as much as basically every remotely functional and somewhat life-expreienced person is. that said, i mean, i'll go to any place that can potentially help me with this current conundrum and at least talk to them. well, lemme tell ya, this TransThrive place - which let me just say everyone there i absolutely feel for as a gender-atypical person myself - was definitely the most overtly culty feeling establishment i've been to - and that's saying something as i've been to more than one kingdom hall meeting with a jehovah's witness friend of mine. the whole atmosphere is like nothing else i've seen anywhere in san francisco or otherwise, the amount of trans flags, trans bunting, trans iconography and propaganda and marketing and and and... everywhere all over the place... is just sheerly overhwelming. and everyone there no matter how well meaning they may have seemed has the most "one-of-us" vibe i've felt pretty much anywhere since my (thankfully lifetimes ago now) purgatory years stuck in the fucking goth c̶u̶l̶t̶ scene. it was certainly an experience. definitely not indicative of broader SF at all but i'm fairly certain the whole thing is corpo/fed funded more than it is local money. also the amount of stuff theoretically you, me, or anyone can just... walk in and immediately just get on the federal government's dime with all but no questions asked and barely batting an eyelash is quite something. there's a whole on-site clinical area. there are hormone pills and various other things just, around. just the basic intake form you fill out asks you if you want one of myriad free procedures that are basically everything you could possibly conjure up - all offered somehow for zero expense on the part of the citizen (well, outside of tax money obviously going to this lulz - but we can't have socialized healthcare covering everything else in this country for reasons!) so basically i learned today that if i want to be straight up put under and given free breast implants and any other amount of various related surgical procedures ad infinitum and out the wazoo (even literally) and / or hormonal therapy of any kind by a Professional Clinical Network Doctor™ i can just literally walk into this fed funded culty place and say "hey let me check these boxes" and they'll be all "OKAY GURL LET'S GET YOU FIXED" with zero apparent questions asked, no money spent on my part, AND they'll literally thrown in a ton of makeup, sex supplies, and clothes for free on top of that. not even kidding. ¯＼_(ツ)_／¯ ... but they unfortunately do not have anything budgeted help pay for my moving expenses or my situation otherwise, other than they are able to offer n̶e̶w̶l̶y̶ ̶t̶r̶a̶n̶s̶f̶o̶r̶m̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶r̶a̶n̶s̶ ̶b̶o̶o̶b̶y̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶s̶t̶i̶t̶u̶t̶e̶s̶ me or you or basically anyone a free two-week hotel room voucher. ...so that's good. #ThanksTrump!
