2026-07-23 00:34:14 ET so, out of all the fucking things that being myself happens to periodically and inadvertently elicit from others in the current-and-unduly-prolonging Zeitgeist Of The United States Of America™ circa approximatley mid 2010s-to-????, while there are several things that happen relatively rarely but periodiacally enough that i would absolutely describe as eyeroll-worthy, i would say, if i had to pick one thing that grimaces / distresses me the most, it is when certain Elderly White Liberal Women (and only and exclusively Elderly White Liberal Women, as in they're literally the only people who fucking do this) just sort of sit there, or walk there, or whatever the bloody hell they happen to be doing when this happens and they notice me, and just suddenly take it upon themselves to start just fucking looking at me EXACTLY LIKE THIS for a variable-but-generally-quite-disconcerting amount of time. i have NO fucking clue what the MSNBCCNNLGBTQCIAWTFLOLBBQ media-propaganda-hypnosis-aparatus has done to these womens' brains, or what it is they're feeling or feeling they're accomplishing when this apparent pavlovian response at me happens, but out of anything i experience in general day-to-day life, including the most random (and TBF far more rare) genuinely antagonistic remark i get from some chudwagon somewhere, Elderly Liberal Women doing this at me is by far the most distressing thing i ever have to deal with when out and about. i swear one of these times i'm potentially just going to actually respond to one of them (instead of my norm of just attempting to be as aloof or uninterested looking as i can muster, which is easier when passing them on the sidewalk or something as opposed to today when the fuckin lady, bless her fucking dumb heart, was just sitting there on the train across from me) and just pointedly say something to them like "hey! who did you vote for?" and (presuming they snap out of their apparent stupor enough to actually respond) whoever they respond with i will immediately respond with something along the lines of "oh yeah? well that asshole is a significant part of the reason i'm technically homeless right now! you have a great fucking day!" i mean i haven't done that yet but FFS what is wrong with these women. i thought this post would be shorter! oh well! 👍 like 👩💻 comment 🧑🩰 subscribe |
