ullerrm 2011-03-29 18:39:39 ET Turbo: MMOs in moderation. :) It's a game, one of many that I play - not a lifestyle. Mero: For me, Fraps works fine for most games as long as I run it on a machine with a fast hard drive (don't even bother trying to record in HD unless you have a 10krpm drive) and a decent video card. However, some games use some strange rendering schemes with multi-frame compositing; in that case, Fraps will appear to work, but what it captures isn't quite what you see on screen.

Merovingian 2011-03-29 18:44:36 ET Well my major issue has been my framerates being dropped while recording. It's frustrating for me to deal with that during FPS games. Other than that it's worked well for me.
