I tend to listen to a few musicians over and over, which I think is fine really, but I'd like to try out some other things as well. Here's a top 15 list of musicians I listen to most, according to my last.fm. Coil Current 93 Nurse With Wound Cyclobe CoH Matmos Throbbing Gristle Pan Sonic Andrew Liles Carter Tutti Psychic TV Autechre The Threshold Houseboys Choir The Third Eye Foundation Death in June You sort of get the idea, I suppose. List some recommended albums whilst listing artists if you do so. Thanks. Also, the Sunn O))) meets Nurse With Wound collaboration, The Iron Soul Of Nothing, is brilliant. Though it's credited as a remix of Sunn O)))'s OO Void, it is completely different from the original and is both beautiful and unsettling at times. It's a bit similar to the ambient recordings of Soliloquy For Lilith. There's even sounds from Nurse's ...I Am Blind as well as recordings of breaking glass. 8 comments

somnambulist by the sea

2008-02-23 23:56:23 ET uncertain - somnambulist 1 something of an improvised piece that I did on ableton today I really like a number of the sounds here, most of which were sample based. It has something of an ominous, mysterious sound. :) I am wearing a hoodie because of, er, dooooooooooooom. 4 comments
