Soon I go dance. But I am not looking forward to the trek across the river. It's cold and wet out tonight. I will be bundled up and have an umbrella handy. The sky was doing the downpour thing on and off for part of the day today. We are having our normal weather for this time of year finally. I distrust the skies right now while on foot.

Now for the news of the day...    2002-12-10 22:46:53 ET
1. Erin, Roxane, and I made babies today. That's right! Babies! We are the proud parents of a newborn colony of Sea MonkeysŪ . I hope that they are large enough to see tomorrow.

2. The weasels have two days to make their appeal to the landlord that they will not make the house permanently smell like weasel. I hate my landlord. What was that old SNL skit with Eddie Murphy?

3. (old, unreported news) I put what I have for hair into little trainer dreds. Some new pics will be posted soon.

This is close to what art form I would practice if I was more ambitious and creative.

http://www.morbidtendencies.com/

Warning: the site is a bit much for people who are sensitive vegan non-leather wearing tree-huggers. The artist does use real (but not ill-gotten) animal parts. But if you don't look you'll miss the mutant bunny rabbits made out of scavenged stuffed bunnies. Too cute! (no offense to vegan tree-huggers)

I left work early tonight, mostly so that I could give the landlord a call and see what the hell he wants. He wasn't answering his phone, so I left a message.

I'm hoping it's not about the ferrets. He got weirded out when he found out about them. I don't fully know why. They are technically considered a caged animal, something that almost every rental company ignores on their applications. Jay seems to think the house is going to smell like ferrets if and when we move out (they are descented, they only stink when the rev is being lazy about cleaning the cage). The last time I talked to him I tried to assure him it would not. We moved out of a mid-sized one-bedroom apartment that we shared with two cats and the ferrets. After it was cleaned one could not tell that any animals had been living there at all. We got our full deposit back.

Ghengis and Arioch do not have free run of the house. They are let out to run every couple of days and we immediately clean up after them if they leave us any "treats".

Hopefully this can be resolved. Maybe he'll butt out if I offer a pet deposit. :-/

I just brought the roommate home from having a happy birthday. I nearly missed the Holiday Ale Fest. The shame...

*squints at the computer

I'm not allowed to post anything further.
