it's always something    2005-06-05 14:00:07 ET
My life never moves evenly. Just when all the ends are just about met, the silly plans made fall through my fingers like water. During these moments in my life I have nothing to say but just atempt to adapt.

even more, I have no idea what to tell others when they experience the same sorts of storms.

Admidst the mind numbing work, a conversation about stupidity arose.
The theory questioned: Stupidity is based on our self intrested goal of obtaining "happiness".

What was argued about was that an egocentric goal such as the elusive happiness results in the 'head up the ass' sort of view on life where one doesn't care, think about, or put any effort toward anything that does not resault in percieved personal happiness. This resaults in people who respond or act in ways that would earn them the title of being stupid. This is the person who cut you off on the freeway, who does not take any time to know truths about issues before mouthing off opinions, or who simply blunders about the day doing however they see fit not noticing if this is effecting anyone else.

I have to go to work... But I am courious what people think.

So I bought my wedding dress. I can't believe I accually found something I liked. It's a French designer and the store lady hasn't been able to get anyone to try the damn thing on before me. The dress fit perfect, looked better than I ever thought anything that was ivory lace could. So there. I am spending lots of money on a dress that, dear me, is even strapless. The bodice, fortunatly, is like armor. It ain't going nowhere. It has long sleeves that start off the sholder and are lace with other material wrapped around it. I am going to add either blue or burgandy to the laces around the sleeves and to the lacings in the bodice. Mybe I should have a different color veil too.

ok, away from boring stuff about my wedding.

I have been working my butt off getting ready for the Del Mar Fair. The theme this year is all the movies that have been filmed in the san Deigo, Baja area. The from entrance has been my main task for the past week. We have spent about ten hours a day making a large 1930's art deco movie theatre front. Let me tell you, Gold and marron are not colors I like together and yet this whole thing is gold and marroon. only a few weeks of this schedule and I will have lots of overtime money.

well, off to do some cleaning.
