dream time.
ok this is how it went
(i just woke up)
i was falling into this huge black hole
and the below i could see a white blue light
then i hit a surface
it was ice and i broke through
i was uderwater and there were tings swimming around me
but i didnt kno what they were
i was afraid
alone
in the dark
i was swimming up but i kept hitting the thick ice above me
finely i found the hole i fell though
and i made it out
i wasnt cold
but the huge round cave that i was in was filled with fozen water
frozen 4 feet thick
this huge room
filled with frozen water
and in the middle
was a plateau
covered with ice and in the middle of it
was a small building
it looked somewhat like a shack
only bigger and i little more massive
somehow i managed to climb up the walls to the top
and when there i went inside the shack
sarah (1) was there
the structure was drak
with wite and blue ambient light coming from outside
i kept asking sarah what was going on
but no she wouldt tell me, all she would say was that we had to get out of here
and we couldnt go back down to the ice
then we heard something
someone was comming down the hole in the ceiling of the cave
it was a fat man
he came down the hole attached to a rope unlike me who just fell through
he slowly decended srtaight down into the hole i had made in the ice
and kept going into it and under the water
when his body hit the water
the rope snapped and he feel on through
sarah said we had to get the rope so we could make it back out
the room had become cold now
we walked out to the front of the shack and there was a wihite fog
crawing slowly across the frozen lake below us
the rope was too far out of reach
but there was such an urgency
we had to get hat rope
and it was going back up slowly
but it was just out of reach and then too high
our only hope and acended back into the hole above
then we heard someone talking from behind us
just laughing
it was a young man
not much older than us laughing and saying that it was useless to try now
we were here for good
and he walked past
between sarah and i
and over the side of the plateau and walked dowh the wall onto the ice
though the fog and dissapeared
more people started to appear
and our urgency to get out now was more than ever
we were ting to think of a way to get out
but nothing would work
the people continued to appear
just out of no where
some were panicing
running onto the ice below and then falling though screaming in horror
otheres were calm and just stood there staring into nothingness
then
the ambient blue white light began to fade
the place was becoming black
and people were still appearing
we asked a guy how to get out of here
and he said there is no way
the (scrambled Muttering) in the water would take us before we could make it
we stood at the egde and looked at the people tring to make it out
the ice they were standing on was melting
and they were falling through
one by one they would fall through and begin screaming as something took them under
the room wasnt as cold now
but still as dark
the fog had turned more into humidity
causeing the ice to melt
the water surrounding the plateau beagn to rise some
enough to where i could go to the edge of the water
and look in
it was dark blue, almost black and smokey
there were things moving under the water
but nothing that i could reconginze
the water continued to rise
and so i went back to the shack
the ice was melting all round
and sheets of it were falling off the house revealing what was underneath
it was a small convience store
but with nothing in it
just old adds for ciggs and junk foods
sarah came up to me and
moved her mouth but all i could hear was mumbling
i decided to climb on the roof and see what was there
the room was now growing less black and blue
and more grey
i made it to the roof and look around
the room was stretching away from the center
the walls were becoming harder to see
and then more light began to some though
i slid down the roof
and saw sarah again
(*sections of the dream missing*)
but then they grey faded
and gave way to greens
the water had risen so much now
that it was lapping the sides of the plateau
becoming almost a swamp
light began to pour from around me
and swampland grew around me
there were people every where
none that i knew
but everywhere
the water was now brown
and dirty
then i heard someone falling again
it was a boy i went to high school with named chris
he fell and landed beisde me
i went to help him up from his fall but as i streched out my hand
he jolted up and ran to the edge of the water
and jumped in
he swam out about 10 feet and then
in an instant he was surronded by what looked like huge black leeches
the first ones attached to his neck causing him to scream
then hundrededs of others came
covering his body as he screamed in agony
and went under the water
i just stood and watched
and he dissapeard under
i turned back to the store
that was now filled with people
and food
there were people everywhere
but none that i knew other than sarah
the people were standing around talking
sitting on the roof laughing
sitting on the dock that had appeared in silence
the light that surrouned us was now yellow
and warm
everyone that was around was cheerful
except me
i was the only one that had this sinking feeling lingering over me
i saw all these peopole arond me
laughing and having a wonderful time
the light was now bright
like a mid-day sun
i decided to climb to the roof again
i headed to the store and noticed an old man behind the counter
working
and another older man coming to the counter buying something
there were people scattered about the store
in the corners and down the aisles
they were all my age
or a little older
but none over 21
the old man atteneded to his costomer
but payed no attenton to the kids that were scattered about his store
i walked up to the counter
and looked directly at the old man
but he didnt even look up
he was busy messing round with something under the counter
i decided to head on up to the roof
the once before cold tin roof was now a warm roof covered in shingles
i climbed up and walked to the top
when in an instant i realized everythinig
and i screamed to sarah in a panic
i was standing on the crest of the roof
then i sat down and contiued to scream for sarah
i saw her head pop up at the bottom of the roof and she said what
in one of those stupid voices she always does
there was silence
the people around me wernt talking
and nothing was moving
there was now no sound at all
my heart was pounding
and i could hear it through my chest
i looked sarah directly in the eyes
and said
"They are all Ghosts!"
she looked to me and smiled and then she went about her business
i had realized that
everyone that surrounded me
was a ghost
a spirtit
the reason that the old man in the store couldnt see them
was because
in his world
they werent even there
i walked down the opposite side of the roof
and sat next to a girl that i had seen since before the blue light changed to grey
i realized that
if they were ghosts
then...
so was i
i had died
and i hadnt even known it
i stared out onto the water
the sun was setting
on the horizon
the clouds were purple pink and orange
the water was now green
there were trees growing around us
the girl i sat next to
put her arm around me
she hed me close
and
as the realization hit me again
that i had died
and left my life behind
leaving behind my eternal frineds
and people that i loved
i began to cry
crying harder than anytime in my past life before
i buckled over with my hands covering my face
as tears poured from my eyes
i sobbed laying on the roof of the store
i hadnt wanted life to end
there was so much left
that i had never gotten to see or do
but my biggest regret
was that...
when i died
i did not leave the world being in love with someone
and now i would never have the chance to love again
i began to stop crying
and the girl that was holding me began to talk with me
she told me that all was well
i did leave the world
and that i was now a ghost living in a new world
we went into the store
and sat down next to each other
and talked of how we had died as people in the real world walked around us
she said that her experience coming to this side
was typical
just like you hear
and i told her i didnt know
how i died
or how i got here
and that
i didnt even know where i was...
and then i woke up. having the feeling that i had seen the other side
