2004-06-03 22:17:09 ET Well, I signed up for the test tomorrow. Being allowed to test pretty much gaurantees that you've already passed, so that's good. I also start teaching Kim guitar tomorrow. I need to bring my tuner and I bet that we're going to need to buy new strings, get a truss rod adjustment, sand down some frets, etc. I'll give him a couple of my picks I think, it's not like I ever use them. Oh, and "Shaolin Soccer" is opening at the Loft tomorrow. I'll probably go see it on Monday, since Saturday I'm playing "Call of Cthlulu" and probablly taking part in what my buds are calling "The Amazingly Horrible Movie Face Off". Last time it was "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" and this time it's sure to be "Razorblade Smiles". RS was voted to be the worst movie in the history of movies, including film student's failed attempts. Of course, JCVH hadn't been seen by many of the people that voted. Anyway, I think it's going to prove to be a weekend in need of vast amounts of alchohol.

2004-06-02 13:50:06 ET Monique has found an apartment. She'll be moving out in about two weeks. I love the girl and all but thank God. I don't know how many more one-sided conversations about pointless crap I can take. I will get to "un-girlify" my bathroom and not worry about getting up early to take her to work. I also get to go back to class tonight, for the first time in two weeks. I'm not going to go to nationals, I haven't had the time to practice and I can't afford airfare/room/board. I'm also debating about the belt test on friday. I know I'll pass if I test, but lacking the last two weeks I don't know whether or not I'd make a fool of myself.
