the release was great the bar was packed and they even thanked me on stage...neat...very neat...its looks good and i'm pretty happy with the way they used the image...i got to talk to the opening acts and might end up work with two of them...that would be great...
oh well after that i was dragged by my yarn headed grrl to the diva deluxe show out at rehearsal studios....not bad..much different crowd...from a heavy rock band atomsphere (felt like a tool show) to a haughty gothy thing...ummm strange...but whatever...if i had nothing else to do i probably would have wanted to go to a blues bar instead but thats me, or maybe the chatterbox, or some mellow jazz....i know what i'm really in the mood for...some good old surf punk music....i'm going to go find my destination earth! cd now....
i have furthered my goal of owning my own record company even more by making more contacts....if i don't have this company in the next 8 years (by 30) i'm going be unhappy...

off for the week end, have a bands cd release party to attend due to the fact that i did there cover art...thats always fun...then i think there's a million and a half things that i should do and i'll probably end up doing none of them...
last two days...no art work...no writing...nothing...just goofed off at work as always and nothing else...the only person who minds my goofing off is my immedate supervisor and she needs to just get laid and shut the hell up...i do half her job anyways all she does is sit in here office and play around on the internet...
so basically what i am is a glorified security guard...i do all the hard stuff for the morons underneath me...co-ordinate schedules, report writing, training blah blah blah, but in the end that only takes 2 hours a day usually the rest of the time i'm either stuck in a control room surrounded by 30 to 40 closed circuit tv's watching a closed musuem (3rd shifter) or drive the mobile unit in circles on grounds....
its a great job i get to have tattoo's and piercings with out covering them up, and basically drive wanna-be cops insane...they hate the fact that i can work over them and be so strange...i love the way there little face's curl up everytime i start to talk about my life away from work...and i know for certain that they resent my presence...(well the normal ones my third shift team loves me, we all get along and never mess with each unless to crack jokes about each other)...
i think the only reason i got the job is that the director of security used to party with sloppy seconds in bloomington and he likes the idea of some young punk messing with the old fuck ups...(cuz lets get it straight if your 45 have a college education and still work security...your a fuck up...)
oh well thats behind me, and infront of me...three days of whatever i want...HA HA!

sometimes working nights sucks cuz of 3 am...3 am is a time i know very well i still have 3 and 1/2 hours of work left when i reach 3 am....but when i'm off (every two days i'm off for two days...strange schedule...ask me about my 3 day week ends and 12 hour shifts some time)...but every time i'm off i get the strange silence and quiet of 3am to myself....nothing ever happens at 3am....sometimes i go place's and drive around...but there's never anything here in indianapolis to find....nothing...dennys, waffle house, steak and shake, mom and pops greasy spoons...i know them all intimately...i know there strange acidic smell, i know there half awake clientele, i know there shitty over spiced food....i know city streets that stay empty for 30 mintues at a time...only to be cut up by some beater rust bucket for a few second before going empty again....i know the wetness...its always damp at 3am...and cold....
sometimes i do art at that time....i started this one at 3 am...the pictures were taken the night before at 11pm...it was done by 6:30 am....
