Went job hunting in Terre Haute today. Took us way too long to get down there, stupid traffic.
I found 2 on campus possibilities, and 5 at the mall. So everyone wish me luck.
I applied at:
Victoria Secret
Bath & Body Works
Hot Topic (again haha I'm lame)
Game Stop
Hallmark
All places I could really use the discount haha. And Hot Topic changed their applications so I didnt' have to sell myself this time, hopefully I have a chance at it haha.
Victoria Secrets wasn't hiring yet, but they keep their applications on file for a year so incase something comes up that's good. And one of them said they'd be hiring in September, maybe it was VS..I dont' remember haha.
So yeah I hope I can get a job, it would be supa helpful since I have 29.00 in my back account right now *sad face* and in a few weeks 15 of that will be gone towards my internet.
I'm considering selling my PSII, hopefully the game store here in town may buy it. I really need the money, and I only have 2 games for just PSII, Spyro and Mortal Kombat, the rest are just regular PS games so I can play them on my PSI. I may try and do that tomorrow sometime. Depends.
We took our cloths that were rejected at the Plato's Closet in Indy to the Plato's Closet in Terre Haute, they were jam packed so they still have the cloths that they probably won't buy from us. but i have some cute sweaters in there dangit! they should buy them haha.
ok well that's all for my update.

| I worry sometimes... 2004-08-09 19:20:23 ET |
|
That I am a disappointment to people. That my life is just so blah and it's just a bore and that's why no one is around me much.
I know I worry too much about stupid stuff, but I don't really think this is a "stupid" worry you know?
I don't really like who I am sometimes, but I also can't do a whole lot to change it at the moment. It's hard to become a more active person when you have no money and your body doesn't let you be all that active for long periods of time.
I like to go out and have fun, I guess I just get bored with it sometimes. And I can't do it all that often. I'm a college bum.
I guess that's just an excuse too. I'm comfortable in my life right now and I'm going back to school soon. You just get into a rut of doing the same things over and over again you know? It's hard to change and it's hard to adjust.
I try to stay as active as I can. But I've also grown accustomed to having to entertain myself at home. You can't really do much when you have no money, and as much as I like the outdoors, cause I really do, I don't in the summer. I can't stand to be hot, it irritates me and makes me cranky and I don't like that feeling. So I tend to just want to do things at night or late afternoon.
Especially at school it's hard to find things to do outside other than walk or sit there at the fountain which can only be done some of teh time, cause there's some weird peopel there haha.
Sitting around watching tv and movies makes me boring as hell and I know that, just don't know what to do about it. I'm going to get a job this semester hopefully, and be able to do things sometimes, but I don't want to waste what little money I will have on going out to clubs and bars or movies. I guess that makes me a tight-ass too.
Ok so I'm just babbling now, just getting some thoughts out that I think about while laying here in bed at night. That's the other thing I do, sleep a lot. But anyone who saw me this weekend can attest to what happens when I don't get the sleep I'm used to getting, I become uber bitch and get all snippy with people without even meaning to. I thought it was cause of something else but it wasn't, it was my sleep. I can't stay up late and then get up early, don't work that way. Especially not when I have no reason to get up (like work or school or appointments).
I guess this is just me trying to make me feel better about how much my life actually sucks haha. So yeah just ignore me for a while i'll get over whatever it is that's making me feel this way.

Went to X-Fest yesterday. This year it was The Projekt Revolutions tour. Linkin Park, Korn, Snoop Dogg, and The Used.
We were 2 hours late, I thought doors opened at 4 and they opened at 2, so we missed all of second stage (not a big deal cause i never watch second stage) and The Used. But we arrived just in time for Snoop.
He put on a good show, entertaining at least. And he did play a few songs I knew haha. Not a huge Snoop fan but it's better than Jay-Z (he was at a concert that i went to a year ago or something like that, we left when he came on stage)
And then came Korn. This was the 3rd time I'd seen them. Wish I could be like Bridget (a girl I went to highschool with that we ran into) and have seen them every time they were here (last night was the 7th time she'd seen them) but alas I'm a broke college student haha.
Then came the show I'd been waiting to see ^_^ thank God for Linkin Park haha. They put on a great show. I was very very happy to have blown $50 I didn't really have to see them haha. Wouldn't have done it for the rest of the people there. I felt special though haha, they played Step Up, one of their older songs that not many people know. and when he said the name I yelled cause I knew what he was talking about, and I was one of the few in our area that did so haha. Yay for me! Chester was hot of course and Mike adorable as usual.
It was great fun, not everyone seemed to have a good time but I had a blast and I'm pretty sure Brad did as well and Vi seemed to enjoy herself, so yeah that leaves Matt. Don't think he was too excited by the end of the evening, but that's his deal not mine.
They didn't play My December though, but that's ok, I listened to it soon as we got in the car haha.
That's all for now, much love.
