Furax 2003-03-10 10:42:44 ET sony didn't feel that there was a large enough u.s. market for the release of the ps2 hdd (hard disk drive) attachment and ffxi relies on it for its gameplay... so they, obviously, didn't relaese ffxi in the u.s. ...they'll probably release it later on sometime though after the bring the hdd in for other games...
