ME-OOOOWWWLLLLLL! | |
2004-10-07 15:31:59 ET My parenting skills were tested tonight when I decided that it was time to give my cat a bath. (I think she had fleas. and besides - she was starting to stink up the place.) anyway, she howled and meowed and whined and moaned... I think probably someone thought I was shoving a cat down a drain pipe or something equally as horrible. But it was for her own good, and she'll be such a pretty, clean cat once she's dry. Boy, do I wish I had a camera, though. heh heh. wet cats are funny, but freshly towel-dried frizzy cats are funnier.

2004-10-07 10:16:56 ET The sun will come out, tomorrow Bet your bottom dollar That tomorrow, there'll be sun Jus' thinkin' about, tomorrow Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow 'Til there's none When I'm stuck with the day that's gray and lonely I just stick out my chin and grin and say, ohhh The sun will come out, tomorrow So you gotta hang on 'til tomorrow Come what may... Tomorrow, tomorrow I love ya, tomorrow You're always a day away The sun will come out, tomorrow So you gotta hang on 'til tomorrow Come what may... Tomorrow, tomorrow I love ya, tomorrow You're always a day away Tomorrow, tomorrow I love ya, tomorrow You're always a day away! - C. Strousse/M. Charmin |
2004-10-05 09:26:12 ET Just when I think I got it made I go say something dumb Just when everything's going my way somebody says it's wrong. There's no escapin the way of the world the way it oughtta be But why oh why can't life be simple for a simple man like me? When the ball starts rollin you got to keep up or you'll get run over again When the man starts talkin you better listen up 'fore he takes your money again. there's no expecting how the world will be or what's around the bend that's why it's so tough for true-hearted girls and single-sighted men. |
