I have come to the realization (or rather formed my own opinion) that my mood is affected in large by, but not limited to, 3 factors.
1: Environmental Stimuli: external circumstance often triggers an intrinsic response with me. which isn't hard to do, since I am overemotional like a girl (no offense ladies, I do love you) haha
2: Internal Stimuli: self affirmation or deconstruction
I have noticed that the human has the ability to alter the mixture of chemicals in my own body simply by the manner in which I either build myself up or tear myself down internally.
3. Internal Stimuli: Composition of Body's Chemicals: largely affected by number 2, my nutirition, and exercise schedule
in short, I put myself in a good mood last night by eating a certain way, running, and simply willing it into being. pretty cool huh?

to everyone sending packages: to send a package to a soldier, you must fill out a customs card when you take it to the post office. soldiers have had high dollar items stolen from their packages, because the army is allowed to do random searches of packages. do not mark down high value items on the customs sheet. it is best to itemize 'objects' as things that soldiers usually get ,ie:
'books', 'magazines', 'baby wipes', etc. this helps cut down on those customs bastards stealing our stuff.

the only thing that has changed is the zip code (from 09379 to 09344) all mail that has already been sent will still arrive, so don't worry. by the way, if anyone needs ideas for care packages, *wink wink* I need WD40 OR "Strike Hold" lubricant for my M16. Also, I am in dire need of pictures of my buddies! so, mail me and send lots of pics :) I'm still looking for a place where I can hook up my digital camera to upload some pics. we went on a convoy yesterday to play a graduation for the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps. good lord!!! the engineers took 2 wrong turns and as a result, a rocket propelled grenade shot between the first 2 trucks on our convoy and we took small arms fire. luckily we got the hell out of there in time and noone was hit. then an improv. explosive divice exploded a block away from us. i guess someone hit the wrong button, because i'm pretty sure it was ment for us. God was looking out for us that day thats for sure. Then our second job got cancelled and it was too dangerous to travel, being that today is the anniversary of our occupation, so we stayed at the camp. This morning, we drove over unexploded ordinance without realizing it!!! I hope we never ride with the dumbass engineers again thats for sure! they are going to get us killed! When we got back to base, we found that there had been attacks all evening!!! a tank got hit and killed 8 of our guys, so we were retaliating with artillary all day. HOOAH, I hope we melted them to their walls!!!
