had my interview today
guess it went well, we'll see in a few days
found out my cousin (she's in one of my photo albums as my lil' sis) is being harassed by some bitch at her school
i guess today..maybe yesterday...this girl's sister confronted her and hit her and my cuz hit her back...and then proceeded to wipe the hallway with her.
this girl obviously didn't know that chels has been raised with 4 brothers, who taught her well.
unfortunately a teacher got hit in the process. chels is suspended for 5 days, but i say go her.
i know that's not the right answer but i'm sick of people picking on her and her having to sit there and take it. and that includes other family members.
i'm proud of her for sticking up for herself. ^.^

Interview
@ Starbucks

so much for dinner >< haha<BR>
so i got to thinking, i know they are going to ask me questions
about why i want to work at starbucks and
the application asked why i liked coffee.
this is where I fail the interview process
i fail those questions and i fail the "sell yourself to me" questions.
now i'm nervous.
all the jobs i've had minus my very first job, i had w/o an interview.
i had an interview at the pharmacy but that was just a formality and just to establish when i could work.
all the interviews i've had...apparently i've not been good enough.
you know that's not a confidence booster.
grr...man i hope this goes well.

So, last weekend I spent in Terre Haute hanging out with Steve (bitten in my photo album) and his friends.
It was a lot of fun and I hope to get the chance to do it again sometime.
I went for the annual "Walk" for ISU homecoming. You walk from campus to the stadium stopping at as many bars as you'd like along the way.
It was all day Saturday pretty much, starting at around 7:30-8:00 am.
I didn't drink a lot but it was still a lot of fun.
We ended up back at Steve and Mike's apartment at around 7-ish that night and stayed there the rest of the weekend.
I ended up staying an extra day. They are really awesome.
Umm..sent out a few more applications to places in the Haute. Hope someone calls me soon.
Tonight I was invited to a halloween party but it was last minute so I stayed home, if I'd have had more time to prepare I probably would have gone. Sounded like fun.
I don't get to get out much so I'll jump at a chance when it comes hah.
I guess that's about all that is happening in my life right now.

Here is my update...
I am moving to Terre Haute asap.
I am applying for a job at Starbucks today...let's hope I get it.
After I get the job I'll apply for the apartment...let's hope that works too :)
And finally they officially changed my degree to a BS in Criminology, a Bachelor of Social Work, and a minor in Psychology.
So, that's all...off to work I go.
