I leave for tahoe in a few hours. This past week has been hellish.
I kinda started a new job. I have been paintng houses with my boy's old boss. He is an interesting person. I have learned this week that you must reply to every comment he makes. Oh, and when he tells you "This is the way I do it, but if you have a different way, that's ok" the accual translation goes something like this: I don't care how you do it, this is the way I want it done.
The Jobs not too exciting but I make more working for him then at the production company.
All free time has been spent on the dress. I feel as though I am going backwards on it. But I am taking it to tahoe and my mom will show me how to fix the couple of places I am stuck on.
I wanted to get more done before I left for my weekend trip. Like cleaning my room. There are only so many hours in a day...

I have pictures! This is the swing skirt. It's not entirely finished but you can see what it's going to look like.
 
Last night while sewing Dave was working on a mask for Halloween and Another friend of ours, who makes films, sat watching an older very strange Italian movie. I paused a moment admist my sewing and wondered if at that present moment With all of us in the house consumed with our own projects, was this some sort of nonsexual artistic threesome?
