2003-03-18 00:43:14 ET My book was translated into two other languages... Polish and Japanese. I've got a Polish copy, but until now I don't have a copy of it in Japanese. Looks like I will soon. Shants Season

2003-03-17 18:57:22 ET It's been absolutly gorgeous the past two days... every year I re-remember that New York is an amazing city when it's warm and the weather is nice. During the bleek and cold months it's easy to forget. In celebration, I brought out my beloved shants. They are named thus as a contraction between shorts and pants. They are 3/4 length pants, known as capri pants for women, and often referred to as "clam diggers" for men. I call them shants. I've got great calf muscles, so it's fun to show them off. So most of the year, I'd say about 8 months, I wear nothing but shants. Mmm... shants.
