T-day...............................    2007-11-22 19:49:48 ET
After dicking around with my lap top since last Sunday, and performing every known test imagineable to it.No internet connection, hardware compatability probs galore, etc etc etc. I finally had to swipe it clean, loosing 35 gigs of music!!!!

So this morning my ladies pc died. The surge protector it was connected to was flashing red. Her monitor is okay, same goes for the printer. But the unit it self won't kick on. Thinking it may be a fried power supply?

Tues and Wed sucked at work. On a job site at the local hospital running lines for their heated driveway. And it starts snow flurring! When I left home, it was 33. By mid afternoon it was 23 degrees with a 30 mph wind. 13 hours of being outside. Almost froze the nuggets off. It's ass using porta potties on job sites. Especially when it's cold and miserable outside, your hands are so cold that you don't want to even pull out the fireman for a whiz!!!There's the possibility of instant shrinky dick! Thank you.....No!!!!

I got Th,Fri,Sat and Sun off:) Not like I have any money to go Christmas shopping. Guess it's a good time to do some at home projects.

Ever fart a cranberry? I haven't personally. Wonder if it would be equivalent to sharding yourself? Just one of those odd things that pops into the noggin from time to time....Eh!

Coffee time.......................

The week in a nutshell    2007-11-16 06:31:56 ET
Have the day off. Then again I work mon-thurs 10-13 hours per day. Yesterday sucked. Installing another run of rainwater pipes 11 feet below ground. The average temp at 4 feet is about 53 degrees. I could see the clouds moving quickly due to the 50 mph winds. The weather got shitty in no time at all. Above ground the temp was about 29. So the 29 degrees, and 50 mph winds knocked the temp down to around 17 degrees. Throw in snow flurries, and you have a shitty day before first break at 9 am:( In essence the day drug like a three legged dog trying to lick it's stump!

Did I mention that I destroyed part of a work truck? I was told by the foreman to move an f-350 onto the job site for easier handling of tools.I'm not a huge person to begin with, so I get lost sitting in the front of an s-10! So I'm watching to make sure I don't tip this fucker into a fenced off ditch, when low and behold I straddled a dirt covered tree stump! Some nimrod decided it would be easier to cover the stump with dirt then put it in an appropriate pile. I dented the oil pan cover, transmission pan cover, took out two cross members, and severely dented the gas tank(*to the point where it holds 5 gallons less!). I didn't get yelled at or written up. Just was told not to be bothered cause it was a work truck, and it wasn't my fault due to someone elses stupidity! Felt bad, cause I try to treat tools and vehicles I borrow like they were my own, even if they aren't!!!

Onwards to todays errands......

Why is a street opening with a cover called a manhole, and not a womanhole or a person hole?

Today is one of those overcast drizzly days. The kind of days to either curl up with a book,a crossword, catch up on some tv shows, or perhaps watch some trilogy.I opted to catch up on chores, as per usual.

Thinking about this upcoming week at work. Our current project at Loring hospital in Sac city, is about an 11 million dollar addition to the existing hospital. Other construction crews are busy framing, and getting the rebar in place for walls and stuff. My crew is installing storm water drains and sewage lines. The architects take nothing into consideration when making blueprints!Right now were working on a 58 degree hillside, and the slope of the storm water drains has to be at 6.5 percent. We had to survey from the existing first level floor of the hospital, to the first manhole. A difference of 27.9 feet. Which in essence put the manhole at 11 ft 2 in below ground level. And the manhole is only 42 inches high! It's going to be a fun job for the grading crews. Thursday we were 9 feet from installing the second manhole. Then another two runs of an additional 650 feet of storm pipe. Hopefully the so so weather permits us to finish the storm pipe before Winter sets in.After thats done, the list goes on for gas and other plumbing niceties.

In a nutshell. I'll be at this job site for about two years. Let's hope the additional bonuses we get on top of our pay is worth it?

 Pics......    2007-11-09 13:04:43 ET
While doing things about the house and abroad over the last few weeks. I've noticed and felt more and more atuned to certain things , some would classify as abnormalities. To make a long story short. I carry my digital camera with me everywhere. For the sake of taking pics of scenery, wild life and for my database of old Victorian houses(*architecture and colours). To make a long story short....Last month I captured 27 pics of orbs, plasma type mists, and another blured outline of a child.About half of them were taken here at my house, and others while traveling. This month that number is at 11. Sometimes it's cool and other times you wonder what they want, to continuously appear.Sometimes prior to something appearing on film, there are noises, lights on and off, smells, shadows, auras, etc etc. *Shakes head....Half the time it's at night, and the other times in broad daylight. I should just start collecting TAPS like equipment, and start my journey?
