I don't think I've ever drank that much in one weekend. Sunday was a write off.

Things I Sort of Remember

From Saturday Night

- Partaking in a topless contest with 4 other guys. I was later told I nearly won.
- Watching 3 really incredible pool games and nearly falling off my chair as this guy made an incredible shot. But I barely remember what the shot was now.
- Hitting beer #10 (yes, I have a low tolerance) and thinking I should stop. Then having 2 or 3 more.
- Dancing to hip-hop. I really don't like hip-hop.
- Staggering back with a friend and his girlfriend to her place where I collapsed. Apparently in the bathroom first. But I wasn't there for that part.

When we left her place in the morning, I was shocked to see the flight of stairs I didn't kill myself on. My friend said I traversed the steps quite gracefully. I wonder if that's a good thing...

Back at work now. Seems like I never left. The Northern Lights were really incredible. I'm going back up in January. I'll brave the cold. Will the girl possibly come? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

From the Far North2003-10-25 14:21:05 ET

Hey all... North Bay's cold. Saw the Northen Lights last night on the drive up. That has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. It was like the whole night sky was on fire. Imagine what the first nations thought when they first saw the solar flares in the atmosphere.

Anyhow. All there is to do up here is drink and watch hockey. Not that I mind, but it would be very boring if I had to be up here for much longer than, say, 3 days.

That and it's vertually impossible to be a vegetarian in this town. Today I ate pork. Cause there wasn't any chicken. I feel a little... off now.

Anyway. I'll post again on Monday, probably. I'm lacking anything inspirational to say. The game is on (hockey). Should go and support my Leafs (The Toronto Maple Laughs).

Take good care of yourselves!

So I go to North Bay later today (hey, I'm a poet and didn't occur to me). Not sure what I'll do other than see my friend Rob, maybe firebomb Mike Harris's birthplace.

Just finished the first chapter of Dude, Where's My Country?. I put it down for a little bit so I could reflect on Stupid White Men. So when does Bush get toppled from power? And will anybody vote for the Green Party? I mean, the Democrats are truly whipped by the Republicans, so there's no point in voting for them.

I think the whole world should vote in the next election, given that the actions of the President of the U.S.A. (POTUSA) affects the lives of everyone in the world. So we should have a say too. Man, what an election that would be.

Free-thinkers and leftys of the world unite!

Well, one can only hope, right?
